A big Thank you to Cindy McPhail for coming and sharing her "Opertation Christmas Child" presentation at our WMU meeting today. Cindy is Church Relations Coordinator for the South Triangle area. What a Blessing to hear the many ways that so many have been led to Christ through the gifts of Shoeboxes!
Dawn Smith Jordan lead our Worship service Sunday . Dawn shared her beautiful music.  She also shared her incredible heart with us as she told her story .  Dawn is an amazing Christian lady with an amazing family. Let's not forget her furbabies, Sammy, the singing dog and Zoey, the cat !!!
Homecoming 2023  : A packed church is always a Blessing ! So many familiar faces and so much joy ! We were also Blessed with Dr. Len Keever as our special guest speaker and it is always great to spend time with his wife, Mrs. Kathy Keever too ! We had special music from our choir director, Ronnie Norris, and Ronnie Williamson, Donnie and Brenda Hancock and Melissa  McLamb. Our Church choir also Blessed us with song. Our Church history was read by Ms. Jean Sumner and she also read the list of all Charter members. Mr. Larry Norris and Mr. Joe Norris. Jr. were our Charter members that were present.  Dr. Keever shared the message , "Fellowship is a Spiritual Discipline"-Mark 1:29-31. Meadow Restaurant catered our Homecoming meal for us and it was an amazing feast. It is fair to say we were filled by the Spirit and the food.
SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK OFF 2023
As always , we enjoy our fellowship as we kick off the new Sunday School year at NCABC. Come and join us ! EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE  !
Debbie Jones  presented highlights with our WMU on Wednesday , July 19th ,from her recent trip to Guatemala June 23-July 1. This short-term missions trip involved compassion ministries among children and senior adults in the San Juan area of Guatemala. They shared the word of God, did crafts with the Seniors and children bringing joy and smiles. They supplied eggs and other items to some in the area. Debbie shared video and pictures of the trip and their interactions with the people they ministered to. She displayed items made in the area she visited for all of us to see. Debbie was born and raised here in Dunn. What a Blessing it was for her to share her mission with us. Afterwards we served refreshments and socialized with one another.  
 
Our movie for movie night, "Break Through" was based on a true story .  As the movie unfolds you feel the love and healing of God's grace and the comfort of a miracle happening. It was a movie that all should see.  It was a spirit filled movie and atmosphere for all. Thank you to those that organized the snacks and yummy pizzas.
June 30, 2023  Marks a 50 Year Anniversary for these two special people.  Our church family were invited to celebrate this special event. Toby and Jean Sumner's sons and family planned a "surprise" celebration and it was a joy to see their faces when they walked into Milltown Farm in Erwin. It was an honor to celebrate this special anniversary with them. Happy Anniversary and we wish you many more !
Father's Day 2023 
Father's Day is such a special day for our Dad's.  Pastor Grover welcomed everyone and our Men's choir Blessed us with amazing music. Zoie Langley did a presentation on "Fishers of Men" for our Fathers . Our men were presented with goodie bags that had candy and even a fishing bobber included ! Mr. Daryl Atkins was presented the gift of a cake for being the eldest Father present and Bobby Langley was also presented with a cake for being the youngest Father present. Thank you Miss Zoie for making th goodie bags for all our Fathers!

2023 Mother's Day Recognition:
We love our Mother's here at North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church.  We started our celebration with presenting all of our Mother's with pink carnations. Dylan and Zoie assisted in giving every Mother a flower.  Then we recognized our youngest and eldest Mother with a Chocolate cake. Ms. Jean Pierce won the cake for being the eldest Mother and Savanah Durbin also won a cake for being the newest  Mother. Mr. Pat Williams shared our Mother's day message as our guest speaker. What am amazing, blessed day it was !
2023 Festival Sing Under The Trees & Cookout :
While the rain was an issue, we still carried on with our sing inside. We enjoyed as "Mistic River" blessed us with their music and afterwards we all met in the Fellowship Hall for Hamburger and Hotdogs and all the trimmings. And...as usual, our ladies "brought it", with all those yummy desserts. Thank you to all those that brought all of this together !
"Safe Haven" Blessed us with a concert for our Sunday morning worship. These gentleman are amazing and gifted. Everyone enjoyed them so much. Their music and message was such a Blessing to all of us.

The North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church Choir , directed by Mr. Ronnie Norris, Blessed our church family with a moving Easter Cantata --"When I Survey the Wondrous Cross"  for our Easter Sunday Service.  It was a moving, powerful message in song. WELLNESS DAY- March 9, 2023
Dr. Eric Lee , PharmD. BCACP lead us in a time of valuable information as it relates to medication, prescription plans, Medicare related information, and much more.  We had a very informative 'question & answer' session that was very helpful too ! Ms. Deana Lee offered helpful information and made available many reference materials needed to navigate several issues related to our health and well being.. There were stations to check our BMI, Blood pressure, Blood Sugar, and A1c. Refreshments were available. Thank you so much, Eric , for your very informative session . We appreciate you so much !
Valentine's Banquet 2023-- Did someone say steak ? Well, how about a tender, thick yummy ribeye with a large baked potato and a salad with all the trimmings ? The only thing better is the fellowship of our wonderful church family and friends....and let's not forget the desserts ! Thank you so much for those that made this happen. (Thanks, Dale Gregory...those steaks were truly  delicious !)

Men's Day  with North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church was filled with special music from many and our guest speaker was our own , Caleb Gregory. What an amazing message and beautiful music we experienced.

HANGING OF THE GREENS 2022 :  What a Blessing to have those that participated in Hanging of the Greens for our church Sunday night ! The Hanging of the Greens occurs annually at the start of Advent and is a multisensory communal event.
 Advent is a time of preparation for Christmas and preparing ourselves for a new year living in the presence of God through our relationship with his son.
Shoe Boxes 2022 !!!! Thank you to all our friends at North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church for participating in our annual Operation Shoe Box Mission.  Bringing a smile to the children is such a Blessing for us and them . THANK YOU SO MUCH !

NCBC Homecoming 2022 : What a Joyful Homecoming we had today ! Our Homecoming started with donuts and coffee and afterwards we had amazing music from many talented people in our church. Zoie Langley read a poem for our grandparents to honor them for Grandparents day. John Core IV read the church history and recognized our charter members and those that passed on this year. 
Rev. Hamilton Faircloth was our visiting speaker. He brought the message "Everyone Here Today " from the Scripture Psalms 139:1-14.
Meadow Restaurant catered our lunch with chicken and ham and country steak and gravy and all the trimmings. Our ladies of the church supplied many yummy desserts. It was a great day for everyone.
WMU MISSIONS PROJECT FOR AUGUST 2022:  Our ladies collected school supplies for the new school year for the Teachers that we have in our church . The whole church participated in collecting many items that the children and Teachers will need. We are also proud to announce our new member Mrs. Tonya McCarther into our WMU.
August 14, 2022 ------We would like to Welcome  Sidney & Tonya McCarther to our church family  . Sidney joins us from Grace Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. Tonya is also from Kansas City, MO and she joins us from One Church in Christ.  What a complete joy it is  to have them at North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church as New Members.  
This lady right here is Ms. Barbara Bass. We had the pleasure of celebrating her 80th Birthday in the Fellowship hall . What an amazing and loved lady she is ! We had a "packed house" of family and friends to celebrate her day. There was food and funny stories and laughter. Thank you to all that worked so hard to make this a perfect day for Ms. Barbara !
Our WMU Missions for July 2022  was a blast ! Our church collected all kinds of goodies and such and made cute little baskets for our "shut ins". After we stuffed the baskets as full as they could possibly be, we then separated and delivered them to so many smiling, appreciative faces. It is such a Blessing to be able to take care of those that can not always be with us in church.  After all the deliveries, our WMU Ladies met for lunch and had a great time eating and chatting.

This beautiful couple are soon to welcome their baby girl ! Sydney and Caleb Gregory were celebrated with a baby shower on April 30th to share their joy with us ! Prayers of Joy and Happiness for this adorable family !
Our amazing Church Choir, Directed by Mr. Ronnie Norris , Blessed us with a beautiful Cantata for our Easter Sunday Service.  "Calvary's Love" was shared to us through song as our Pastor Grover K. Blackburn Narrated the program.  Regina Williams accompanied the production on piano.
Senior Outing to Benson Little Theater  (March 2022 ):    North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church Seniors took a walk thru memory lane this afternoon. The "Oldies but Goodies 2" at the Benson Little Theater had us singing along and enjoying all the music these talented  folks shared with us .
What an amazing production . We had 22 Seniors with our group and we all truly had a great time . Can't wait for the next adventure !


Women's Day, Match 2022
Our Church was So Blessed to have Ms. Caroline Jones to speak for us for our Women's Day message. We were delighted to see that she brought her cousin "Symphony Rose" . Her message was full of joy and laughter and God's word. We were also Blessed with special music from our choir and Ms. Carol McLeod. 
March 6,2022 :   We have a New Addition to our church family ! What a Blessing to have Ms. Judy Wallace join us. Her letter of transfer is from Midway Baptist Church In Raleigh.

WMU  February 2022 Mission :
Our ladies started off the day by providing a meal for all of our church family shut ins.  We prepared 16 meals of Turkey and dressing and gravy and all the yummy side dishes, (including the cranberry sauce). There were cakes and pies and even blueberry brownies. After packing this amazing meal up we split up and delivered them and visited a bit with those we could spend time with.  Later, in the evening we showed our appreciation to our Baptist Men and hosted their dinner in our Fellowship Hall.  We love out Church Family and appreciate each and every one !
Baptist Ladies Day  is  March 13, 2022 :  
Mrs. Caroline Jones will be joining us! Combining personal experiences, story-telling, humor and Biblical principles,  Caroline Jones has been a featured speaker from Alaska to the southern tip of South America.  Her ability to paint word pictures and draw her listeners into the experiences she shares have her listeners laughing one minute and reaching for a tissue the next.

              A native of North Carolina, Caroline is graduate of Troy University in Alabama and did her graduate studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.  She has also done extensive language study in Puerto Montt, Chile, and is fluent in Spanish.

              Called at an early age to serve in ministry, Caroline has worked on staff at two churches in NC, on state WMU staff in NC, on the national WMU staff in Birmingham, AL in  leadership development and Christian coaching and in Chile, South America, as a missionary for 14 years. She has been married to Archie for 41 years, is a mother in a blended family, a grandmother and a great-grandmother.

Caroline lives in Erwin, NC and loves sharing God’s love and teachings with others.

We will also have special music from Ms. Carol McLeod and our Ladies Choir.
Our Annie Armstrong "In -Gathering" is celebrated on this day, as well.

(Feb17, 2022) Our Seniors enjoyed some wonderful seafood and laughter together at Hudson Bay Seafood in Fayetteville. Thank you to Mr. Leon Tart for driving the bus for us !
MEN'S DAY BREAKFAST ---2022 : Our ladies put together a yummy Continental Breakfast for our Baptist Men before Sunday school. There were donuts, danish, sausage biscuits and fruit to munch on ! Oh, and let's not forget that coffee and OJ ! 
MEN'S DAY WORSHIP  was such a Blessing . Mr. Leon Tart got our service started this morning.  There was worship in song with our men's choir , directed by Mr. Ronnie Norris.  Special music from Greg Lee, Ronnie Norris & Toby Sumner. Ronnie Norris also shared his amazing voice solo. Ms. Regina Williams played the piano as beautiful as ever ! Our speakers were Mr. Del Wheeler, Richard Thomas and Andy Parrish. Each of them shared their special message and testimony to the church family. What an amazing service that our Men organized for us ! Thank you so much ! 

Our Cantata tonight was such a Blessing ! "WE ALL BOW DOWN" was directed by our choir director , Mr. Ronnie Norris.  Gina Williams assisted on the piano , as our choir presented this incredible array of songs by Marty Nystrom. Thanks to our Pastor, Grover Blackburn . Jr. for his narration with the music . We also would like to thank our Audio/ Video gentlemen, Dale and Austin Gregory . Our Seniors know how to have a great time ! We had our Party at the home of Mrs. Barbara Bass this year. ( A Big THANK YOU to her for sharing her home with us !) Just look at the goodies on the tables ! There was something for everyone ! Thank you so much to everyone for bringing such amazing goodies ! So much fun and laughter ....it was amazing ! Angela Hair won the $25 gift card drawing .

This is what the Fall Festival at North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church and a loving church family looks like ! Yummy BBQ and all the trimmings  & Let's  just talk about the fact that any dessert you could want lined the tables. So much good food !!!!  We had 13 cakes / pies that we used for our cake walk and Mrs . Sara Blackman won our $25 gift card door prize ! Thank you so much for all the love and hard work that was put in to preparing everything and making this day possible for our amazing church family !
Safe Haven was established in 2014 and are from Eastern North Carolina. They love singing Southern Gospel Music and have written several top rated songs. They are now branching out and singing this wonderful Gospel music where ever God would lead them.  Today we were Blessed that they were visiting  our church for a wonderful , spiritual filled worship in song. What an amazing Worship Concert !
 


Pastor Appreciation Lunch !!!!    Thank you so much to the Fellowship Committee for bringing together such a great lunch for our brother's and sister's in Christ today ! We enjoyed a variety of subs and desserts today. Thank you so so much for the hard work you do to bring all of it together !
Pastor Grover & Holly  had a surprise visit from Mr. & Mrs. Santa (Jesse & Debbie Cann) today on Pastor Appreciation Day ! 
Pastor Appreciation Day is such a Blessing at our church because our Pastor Grover, and his wife Holly bring so much love and joy to our church.  We are so Blessed to have them both to lead our church in love and worship !
Rev. Jackson Adamah and his wife Angela Blessed us today . Rev. Jackson Adamah was our guest speaker. His sermon title was "Lessons from Symphony of Heaven" . His message reminded us that as "The body of Christ", we are God's "tuning fork". I hope you will take the time to listen to this amazing sermon, as he shares with us, the word of God.
Homecoming 2021 at North Clinton Baptist Church started with Donuts and coffee  in the fellowship hall. At 10:30 we all moved to the sanctuary . Our morning was spent Praising God  with beautiful, uplifting  music from several talented church members and guest.  Our Pastor, Grover K. Blackburn. Jr. closed the service asking that "we stand where we are as Christians and share the word of God".  It was an amazing Worship service today ! After the service we all went back to the fellowship hall and had an incredible meal together !!! Thank you for all the work that was put in to get this wonderful meal together !
Movie Night with North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church is always a fun, inspiring time ! What a Blessing this movie, "Walking Across Egypt" was ! If you want to see a amazing "Faith based" movie, this is the movie to see. We had hotdogs & chips with all the trimmings, candy, popcorn, and ice cream too ! It is always a Blessing to spend time with our church family....but just remember YOU are welcome here too !

Who doesn't love a PBJ sandwich with some hot vegetable soup or chicken & rice ? Our WMU ladies prepared exactly that for our Church Shut-ins today. We also had 3, yes three, different kinds of desserts to include with this meal ! The meals were delivered to everyone while making time for a little visit too ! After everything was delivered, our WMU Ladies all sat together and enjoyed our meal together. What a Blessing to be  able to make a meal for some of our church family that cannot be with us right now.
What an incredible way to kick off our new Church Year ! Our Sunday School Kick Off / Hotdog Social was such fun ! A special thanks to all that prepared our hotdogs and all the trimmings.  Oh,...and did you see that ice cream station ???  It was so YUMMY ! 
Our Sunday school Teachers for the 2020-2021 year were presented with appreciation certificates, and those that will be teaching for the new year read the "Charge to Sunday School Teachers" in unison.
Looks like our WMU mission this month is going to Bless some of our school children with some much needed items !!! A Big THANK YOU to those that contributed to our school supply mission ! We also want to thank Justin  Parker for making sure they get distributed to those that need them !!!

We are so Blessed to have this lady as part of our church Family ! What an amazing presentation Mrs. Linda Wheeler gave us at our August WMU meeting.  She spoke on our Children going back to school and how we should leave it all up to God to take care of our babies . She shared a "M&M Prayer with us (and some M & Ms too) ! What a wonderful meeting with Ms. Linda and our WMU Ladies had together ! Afterwards .we had lunch together . What a Blessing !
This  sweet lady  has been our Church Secretary here at North Clinton Ave. Baptist Church for 17 years !!! We are so Blessed to have her and we just want her to know we love her and appreciate her !!!!  Happy 17th  Anniversary to Ms. Jessica House Barefoot !!!!

Christmas in July 2021 with our WMU Ladies and Mr. & Mrs. Santa was so amazing ! (Santa Jesse Cann &  Debbie Ferrell Cann) came and shared their journey  in how their Missions  help others in so many areas . She had so many Blessings of testimony in how God has led them thru their Missions.  After her presentation we had a meal fit for a Christmas Dinner of Turkey and all the trimmings. What a Blessing that day was !!!
Elvis at the Rudy Theater:  We had such fun riding the church bus to Selma! Our Seniors had an incredible time tonight at The Rudy Theater ! Austin Irby and his band shared his incredible talent as an Elvis Impersonator doing Elvis's old Gospel hits.
We love our First Responders ! Our WMU do our best  to keep them in snacks and goodies when we can.  We were Blessed with so many snack donations this time that we were able to share with Dunn Police  &  Fire Dept. , EMS and The Erwin Police and Fire Dept. They were so happy and excited when we gave them their goodies.
